Here we are, my shiny new craft design blog. Here I shall post updates on designs, in-progress pictures, ideas and links - and so on.

It's a busy time of year for craft artisans and designers - that window of opportunity is here! We might just sell a few things:) So I hope to update frequently so that I can share links to other blogs with wonderful handmade items for sale. I am grateful to others who share their work, share their passions, without you there inspiration can sometimes feel a little 'thin'. But you're there, sharing and that's a good thing.

I'm excited to know handmade crafts are gradually, gradually, gaining some status in the design world. Still a long way to go, perhaps. There is a quiet revolution going on, people do not want to buy mass-produced generic stuff, they don't want the same as everyone else. There's a need for individualism, there's an appreciation for objects made with love and skill.....
